You will visit the newly accessible and renovated rooms on the upper floor of the west wing with first-class stucco decoration from the late 17th century. The uniquely preserved apartment, used to accommodate distinguished guests, will present exceptional stories, personalities, and collections of the Collalto family.
The shorter tour route will first take you to the arcade of the west wing, from where you will enter the antechamber with part of the portrait and coat of arms gallery. In the small dining room with a view of the food preparation area, you will see rare preserved tableware from the late 17th century and a collection of tapestries. In the salon with a replica of Baroque brocade wallpaper, we will introduce you to Count Antonín Rambald, one of Emperor Charles VI's favorites, whom he generously hosted with his numerous entourage at the castle in Brtnice during his journey to the coronation in Prague in 1723. The last part of the apartment is a bedroom with an alcove, whose rich artistic decoration is unparalleled in the Czechia-Moravia region. Finally, you will visit the castle chapel.
