The tour takes you to the recently restored interiors of the eastern and northern wings of the castle. You will see the richly furnished social, private and representative rooms used for almost 200 years by members of the Italian princely family of Collalto e San Salvatore.
The tour starts in the main courtyard, where a double staircase leads to the open Renaissance arcade. You will pass through the corridor of the south wing, which recalls the unfortunate period of the castle's devastation and has not yet been restored. In the newly opened east wing you will see the elegant dining room with its classical paintings, the men's smoking room, the ladies' oriental salon and the main lounge with restored wallpaper on the walls. Next is the so-called Angel's Corridor, one of the finest creations of the Italian stucco artists led by Balthazar Fontana in Moravia. Next, you will see the salon and bedroom of Princess Thekla Collalto with various personal objects and photographs, the Baroque study of the Imperial General Donat Heissler of Heitersheim and the rooms of the northern wing with the family portrait gallery, art collections and the apartment of the first Prince Odoardo Collalto, whose initiative created the magnificent banquet hall, which will amaze you at the end of the tour.
