Prince Odoard's Apartment (basic route)

The tour will take visitors to the newly renovated north wing and acquaint them with the history of the last aristocratic family Collalto et San Salvatore, especially with the person of Prince Odoard, who in the early 19th century carried out an extensive reconstruction of this part of the castle.

The tour starts in the Main Courtyard, where you ascend the two-armed staircase to the arcade and enter the north wing with the Collalt portrait gallery. You will visit the private apartment of Prince Odoard III, which consists of a reception lounge, lounge, study and bedroom. You will also see the study of the little princes, a small dining room, a flower and a Turkish cabinet, where wall paintings from the early 19th century will be interesting. During the tour you will also visit the Great Hall, which is the work of Anton Ortner, a Viennese court theater architect. In good weather, you will also visit the viewpoint behind the salable terrain and enjoy the view of the romantic ruins in the castle park.
